Three people down to two

Success can come in different forms, sometimes it is an award or a promotion, and sometimes it comes disguised in a heavier workload. This session of the summer program I have been assigned a two staff boat instead of three. That means that the amount of free time to tend to personal needs went from almost nothing to even less. It is more work as far as the chores that needs to be divided between two persons instead of three, but the fact that I am trusted to run this boat with teenagers as crew together with the skipper is one of the better compliments I have received in quite some time. Actions speak louder than words, and I just got promoted.
