“You are so lucky”

I often get to hear that I am so lucky to be working with what I do, and travel as much as I do. I don’t believe in luck. In many ways I consider myself to be unlucky in many aspects – I have never won anything in a lottery, I always get injured at inappropriate times and I cannot pour a glass of milk without spilling it all over the floor. It happens almost every time. I am no luckier or unluckier than anyone else, I just put my ideas in motion. That is all. I have always considered that if there is a dream job or a dream opportunity someone is meant to get it, so why would it not be me?
