The rugged sailor

For the first time in weeks I started digging around in the cabin for shoes and a clean shirt. I was heading to shore. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized that my physical appearance radiat a sweet sailors look. My hair has gone blond from the salt and sun, and my skin has a healthy tan. It is hard to see progress when you are a part of it, but sometimes you manage to check into reality and realize that there has been change. I have become a more accomplished sailor, not just as far as my sailoresque appearance goes, and I feel like I have become a better dive instructor. Time passes, change occurs, and I love it.
