The second chance

There are so many situations that you wish you would get an extra opportunity to redo and do better, but it is very seldom that you ever get the opportunity to do this. For this final third session of the summer I have been put on a boat with skipper Aaron again and we are indescribably stoked. After the first session we talked a lot about things we would have wanted to do differently and we sat down and wrote down ideas on how to improve the daily operations of our boat. We both got placed on different boats and we were a little bummed because we wanted to try out all of our ideas. When I was put on a two-staff boat he was a little jealous and I enjoyed rubbing it in – because it is quite nice to only be two staff members. But now it is finally happening, we have been given a second chance to try to improve what we wanted to change the first time around. It is going to be so interesting to see how our changes will affect the group as a whole and if we can manage to make this trip even better than the first one. Watch out British Virgin Islands, possibly the best sail yacht will be cruising through your waters in just a couple of minutes!
