Bye bye Sweden

I have been preparing for this day for quite some time. Possibly from the first day I even arrived in Uppsala. I have always known that I would leave. Consequently, today I spent much of my time running those small errands that always seem to be left to the very last minute. As I ran around the little streets of Uppsala trying to accomplish all sorts of things that surely could have been accomplished well in advance of the day of departure, I started to get nostalgic. The slogan of the city of Uppsala is “welcome here, welcome home”, and it has been fulfilled from day one that I stepped into the city as a homeless confused teenager. It would seem that my flight is boarding, so I should probably follow the rest of the crowd for once – my family have a grand history of missing flights. Update coming soon. Next stop: Hong Kong.
