Only a couple of days remain until I fly down to Costa Rica to start my crocodile project for my master’s thesis. These couple of weeks in the US has gone by in a lull, and I have tried to the best of my ability to prepare for what that is about to come. I would lie if I said that I wasn’t a little anxious. I am still not quite sure exactly what I will be sampling down there and what time frame I have to play with, a fact that brings stress into a “hurry up and wait” situation. Hopefully it will all come together nicely and I will be done with my thesis in time for the continuation of the rest of my life. Don’t get me wrong, I am stoked about doing this project and I am trying to make the most of it, but I am a little worried that time will drag on and I will become one of those forever more students… Only time will tell. At this point I feel like the most productive thing I can do is to brush up on my Spanish. Nothing will spruce up your Spanish as some cartoons in Spanish! Hola ¡Costa Rica, es mejor prepararse porque yo vengo pronto!
