One critical step at a time

Current location: A laboratory at Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden 59°21’57’’N 18°2’56’’ E
I thought I’d be more relived to find out that all my samples are not ruined or otherwise useless after six months of work. At the end of a very long work-day in the laboratory I could confirm that my samples contain at least the building blocks needed for continuing with the analysis of my crocodiles. One would assume that great news like these would finally put an end to worried thoughts circulating in my head, but I found myself just as distracted from my free-time thoughts as before. Well, until I finally made it home. I dare to say that my current living location has the power to distract any stressed mind and bring it peace. If not, there is just nothing to be done for that poor soul. I am living in my Boat on the picturesque little island of Bockholmen. My daily commute to school includes a path through the woods aligned with an explosion of spring flowers and greens. By my dock I have a sauna, a part of the spa area, as we like to call the little floating dock that is next to the main dock. There is also a café and two aggressive, but oh so beautiful, swans. And so naturally as I got home, stepped into the sauna and saw a double rainbow through the window, all stressful thoughts were blown away and replaced with pure contentedness.
