First day of transport

My first day of transporting Kantara consisted of great company, sun and head on wind. It was a great start of our trip and I got to know the boat and the rest of the crew a little better. The boat I am on has been nominated for the European yacht of the year in the luxury yacht class, as well as for the boat of the year both in France and Sweden. It is a 55-foot aluminum sloop with top of the line equipment and interior solutions that surprise and impress. We motored approximately 60 nautical miles to the island Ile’ xx where I took my first stroll in France. So far I have nothing but great impressions of the French people, and I start to wonder where they got their reputation of being rude. Everyone is kind and extremely forgiving when I try to say something in French with an absolutely horrible accent. I am so excited to continue on tomorrow and I hope that the weather will be equally as shorts-friendly as it was today.
