Maffia land

Because someone told us not to joke about the mafia when in their hometown, we whispered and giggled quietly when we made mob jokes walking around the old town in Syracuse, Sicily. But jokes aside, we could all see why this is a place where powerful people would settle. This place was magical. Every house demonstrated intricate architectural details, and little allies decorated with flower pots waited around very corner. Following the coastline and the large protective wall, we stumbled upon an orchestra practicing. We stopped and stood outside listening for a while. It was like from a movie - a perfect moment.
