We now have a functioning shift system onboard. We have set up a system that rotates the shifts so that not a single person will get the dog shift. It’s divided into day and night cycles. The day shifts are 3 hours long and rotate, and the night shifts are 4 hours long. That gives each crewmember one night off every fourth night for recovery. I just got off my day-shift that lasted until 20.00 and so tonight is my night off. That means a full nights sleep and a morning that starts at 8.00. Weather has been good with a steady 7 m/s (approx 15 kts) from our stern and we surf the waves. Other than that there is not much to tell. Weather forecasts aren’t super accurate but accurate enough, the chef is seasick so me and Mikael have been cooking the food, some dolphins payed us a visit at sunrise and morals are high. Doing some dishes (in salt water) and then Nighty!
